Who We AreThe Bermuda Youth Sports Program (BYSP) was organized in 1992 by a group of concerned parents, mainly from the western parishes of Bermuda, to involve boys and girls, ranging in age from 5 to 16 years, in sports. Our sports program includes soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter, and baseball in the spring. We emphasize the development of positive attitudes and self esteem through participation rather than competition. The BYSP also emphasizes teamwork and respect... respect for yourself, your teammates and coaches, your competitors and the game officials. Every participant gets even playing time - again, participation is stressed above competition! We are a registered Bermuda charitable organization which is solely run by volunteer parents and friends. With the help of many generous donations from sponsors we have been able to keep the signup fee to a minimum for each sport. | ||||||||
